Full Firewall Protection and VPN Support on a Broadband Connection

The 3Com® OfficeConnect® Cable/DSL Secure Gateway enables small offices and growing branch or home offices to securely share a single broadband Internet connection.

This VPN firewall router employs a stateful packet inspection firewall, along with VPN (virtual private network) initiation/termination, hacker pattern detection, and virtual-DMZ capabilities for strong security in an economical package.

A four-port 10/100 Ethernet LAN switch connects multiple users to the office LAN, while an Ethernet WAN port links to a broadband modem (not included). Robust IP addressing and authentication functions deliver router-like performance. Preset defaults, setup wizards, and other features simplify installation, configuration, and administration.
