Affordable, Fixed-Configuration 10/100 Switching

The 3Com® SuperStack® 3 Switch 4200 family provides high-performance wirespeed Layer 2 switching in an affordable, fixed-configuration platform. Featuring easy installation and exceptional reliability, each of these 10/100 Ethernet switches comes with two gigabit uplink ports. The SuperStack 3 Switch 4228G also comes with two GBIC slots.

The SuperStack 3 Switch 4228G 24-Port Plus 2 10/100/1000 and 2 GBIC slots combines wirespeed Layer 2 switching with easy installation and exceptional reliability, backed by 3Com's limited lifetime warranty. Twenty-four autosensing 10/100 copper ports provide flexible desktop and workgroup attachments, while two autosensing 10/100/1000 copper uplink ports support stacking or Gigabit connections, and two flexible GBIC expansion slots enable an additional choice of fiber or copper Gigabit Ethernet backbone and server connections. It delivers forwarding rates up to 9.5 million packets per second (pps). Resiliency features such as Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol, link aggregation on the 10/100/1000 ports, and a redundant power option help ensure uptime.

The high-density SuperStack 3 Switch 4250T 48-Port Plus 2 10/100/1000 is equipped with 48 autosensing 10/100 copper ports for workgroup and desktop connections, and two autosensing 10/100/1000 copper uplink ports for backbone and server connections or for stacking. It delivers forwarding rates up to 10.1 million packets per second (pps). It offers the same resiliency features as the Switch 4228G 28-Port model.

The SuperStack 3 Switch 4226T 24-Port Plus 2 10/100/1000 provides 24 autosensing 10/100 copper ports and two autosensing 10/100/1000 copper ports, delivering forwarding rates up to 6.6 million pps. It offers the same resiliency features as the Switch 4228G 28-Port model.
