Should your broadband connection go down, the TELE3 SP and TELE3 SPi ensure continuous uptime for VPN connectivity by automatically failing over to an integrated analog modem in the case of the TELE3 SP or an ISDN terminal adapter in the TELE3 SPi. Once the broadband connection has been re-established, the TELE3 SP and TELE3 SPi detect the restored connection and automatically fail back, ensuring the best possible connectivity.

• Fail-over Technology. The SonicWALL TELE3 SP's and TELE3 SPi's fail-over capability ensures continuous uptime for IPSec VPN tunnels when the broadband connection fails.
• Broadband and Analog Connectivity. SonicWALL's TELE3 SP and TELE3 SPi provide the flexibility to choose between connecting to the Internet via broadband or by dial-up using the integrated analog modem in the TELE3 SP or the ISDN terminal adapter in the TELE3 SPi, making each a perfect solution for Point-of-Sale implementations and telecommuting applications.
• Bandwidth on Demand (TELE3 SPi only). The TELE3 SPi leverages two, ISDN B channels to scale and meet a company's daily bandwidth needs by utilizing the integrated Bandwidth on Demand feature. The TELE3 SPi can be configured to request the activation of the second B channel when the throughput on the first B Channel exceeds a minimum threshold (40 Kbps for at least 30 seconds).
• Low Total Cost of Ownership. The SonicWALL TELE3 SP and TELE 3 SPi combine a VPN/firewall device with fail-over technology for broadband and analog or ISDN connectivity all in one security appliance, providing a low total cost of ownership (TCO).

• Usage Management (TELE3 SPi only). The TELE3 SPi features a management GUI that conveniently displays detailed usage (in days, hours, minutes, and seconds) of your ISDN connection through the appliance, providing the ability to estimate usage charges based on connection time.
• Compact Size. The SonicWALL TELE3 SP and TELE3 SPi are only 6.50" (16.51 cm) wide, 4.66" (11.84 cm) deep and 1.33" (3.38 cm) deep and weigh just 8 oz (.23 kg). This compact design and light weight make them easy and convenient to carry on the road.
